cricket and futsal utopia

Yarra Valley Grammar has continued its commitment to sporting excellence with the addition of a brand-new 1,000m² cricket and futsal facility. This latest project complements an already extensive suite of premier facilities including a 6,500m² hockey pitch, 4,700m² of tennis courts, and 1,700m² of netball courts — all completed by Grassports.
This fully enclosed complex is secured with 3.6-metre-high chain mesh fencing and topped with a full soft-netting roof. At its heart is a four-lane cricket training area, featuring professionally painted bowler and batting crease markings on a high-performance Centurion surface — Australian-made and approved by Cricket Victoria.
In a testament to smart, multi-purpose design, retractable draw curtains enable the space to be easily reconfigured into a spacious, line-marked futsal pitch. The futsal area is surfaced with Australian-made Poligras Platinum Cool Plus, offering durability and comfort underfoot. Built-in futsal goals are seamlessly integrated into the fencing for a streamlined finish, and a landscaped grass viewing area provides a welcoming space for spectators to enjoy the action.
Grassports is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with Yarra Valley Grammar — a school that not only trusts us to deliver top-tier sporting infrastructure, but also regularly engages us to maintain these facilities at the highest standard.
