“Your staff are excellent communicators complimenting an excellent product and tradesmanship. We had some challenges with the weather as expected but at no stage was the final product ever compromised. The oval looks amazing, and I am entirely confident that our students will enjoy the asset for many years to come. Our teaching staff will also enjoy the impressive resource that we now have. Service and professionalism are a clear standard which was well met with GrasSports Australia. I have no hesitation in highly recommending GrasSports Australia to any other school or local sporting club for a similar project. I also look forward to working with GrasSports Australia in the future as we move through our Buildings and Grounds Master Plan.”
– Dean De Munk (Mount Lilydale Mercy College Business Manager)
Grassports and Mount Lilydale Mercy College collaborated to create a cutting-edge sporting precinct, transforming a vast, natural grass field into a dynamic hub for athletic excellence.
Spanning 6,800m2, the hockey field features a 10mm insitu rubber shock pad layer and is surfaced with Australian-made Poligras Eco HT texturised hockey synthetic grass. Its vibrant olive green internal field and field green surrounds provide a striking backdrop for competitive play, with distinct yellow markings for hockey and ultimate frisbee. The precinct boasts six full-size tennis courts marked in crisp white lines. Adjacent to these courts is a six-lane sprint track in a rich terracotta shade, seamlessly transitioning into a long-jump pit. Adding a personalised touch, the precinct features a custom-made Mount Lilydale Mercy College Crest, symbolising unity and pride within the school community.
