Aspendale Gardens Primary School
huge transformation of half-court basketball court to
an inclusive basketball and netball precinct
Category: Basketball, Netball, Four-Square & Games
Address: Aspendale Gardens
Aspendale Gardens Primary School has invested in their students safety by transforming their old, cracked, and uneven acrylic basketball court into a bright and fun multisport area. Spanning 1,100m² with top-quality Australian-made Grassports Elite 19mm ,
the new space is perfect for budding basketballers, netballers, or anyone keen to have a go at games like hopscotch or four-square.
With the help of Grassports, the area has been completely revitalised. What was once just a half-court is now a full-size basketball court, with two netball goal circles and two additional basketball keys, creating a much safer and more exciting space for everyone.
“The onsite team worked around the daily routines of the school, ensuring the job was carried out in a safe and timely manner. We had regular updates from the team. At the conclusion of the works and sign off, the ongoing maintenance was explained and additional extras that we had asked for were completed. The students absolutely love our new space, which has given greater accessibility for a larger number of students to enjoy their sport and leisure time.
We were very pleased with the service that GrasSports provided and the final result looks amazing. I would thoroughly recommend GrasSports to other organisations..”
– Jonathan Baker (Aspendale Gardens Primary School Principal)
